Beautiful deep red coloured. Pleasant natural cherry aroma. Good balance between sweetness and sourness in the flavour. Notes of grapefruit and almonds. Very refreshing and nice.

[Out of a 10 liter cardboard box at Jacob Lövenlunds place] A clear ruby red beer with a pink disappearing head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of cherries. The flavor is slightly sour like grapefruit combined with strong notes of cherries. I lovely beer. Thanks Jacob for sharing this.

(draught of course) White-pinkish slim head; slightly hazy, beautiful cyclamen-red beer. Faintly sweets-nose, cherrydrops, some Brett shining trough. Rather sweet taste, but not sugared or syrupy cherry taste. It is as if sweet-cherry (kersen) juice has just been added, instead of sour cherry (krieken) juice. Touch of almonds from the stones. The fruit lends extra filling to the mouthfeel. However weirdly sweet, it never presents an artificial flavour profile. It just seems the wrong kind of fruit - for a lover of the sour-fruit theme. For a sweet tooth, however...

UPDATED: JAN 10, 2005 Keg @ Akkurat, Stockholm Bitter almond both in aroma and taste. It seems a bit too young and thin.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 jerohen (1793) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - APR 6, 2004
Hazy red coloured, small pink head, surprising for an unblended lambic i think. Aroma of cherries (like in the Liefmans Gluhkriek) and wood. Very, very soft flavour, not intensely sour but more on the sweet side. Soft sweet-sour finish. Extra points for the excellent drinkability of this brew. Thank you jbrus for this lambic-experience!
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - APR 6, 2004
Cherry and oak aroma. Red color, hazy, pink small creamy head, good lace. Sweet, cherry, very light oak, light tart finish, flat, very soft. The sample (1 liter) I had taken home from the brewery was probably rather young but still delightfull. Not sour like other unblended lambic but very nice and easy to drink.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 omhper (15964) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 28, 2003
Sampled draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, Sweden.
Dark clear red. Aroma of black cherries. Fruity and intensely flavourful with balanced acidity. Though it is complex and very vinous, and the flavour of the cherries is just wonderful it takes a bit of the edge of the complexity of the unblended lambic, making it only slightly less superb.
