Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate yeasty, soap, cheese. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, a dry finish. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091021]

Clear golden with a tiny white head. Malty aroma with hints of brett and banryard. Sweet flavour with ripe fruits, malt, caramel and yeasty notes.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin lazing white head. The aroma has notes of malt, alcohol, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and some spices, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. The alcohol burns lightly in the throat. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle, 9%. Sweetish flavour, a little vegetable, but not too bad. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. Sour and citric finish and aftertaste.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear yellow with a rough white head. Tart, yeasty and phenollic aroma - almost like a cheap white wine. Medium body, fruity, yeasty and again this grape-like character. No real bitterness but some alcohol in the finish. 211009

Aroma bit spices, sweet.

Taste like a sweet tripel, malts, some spice, little bitterness.

Huge white head over pale metallic-golden beer, quite big bubbled. Strange herbal, spicy and also salty nose. I seem to get white candi sugar, but it does not smell sweet; Roasted, caramel notes; a certain faint acidity, and spicy malts. Very well-attenuated. Fizzy MF, rather light-appearing body, yet quite slick. Utterly weird. Obvious Van Steenberge, and for once, I’d be tempted to believe it to be original <i> Despite all the references to the shrimpfishing, there’s no commanditor mentioned. </i>
