75cl in teku. Pours a modest white head, not enormous like most hefe weiss/weizen; pure golden hazy colour. Smells very intriguing: a fruity esters explosion, mango, passion fruit, peach, yeasty. Tastes again orange/yellow fruity, multi grain, lemon/exotic hints; nice moderate sweetness, -->some low tartness. Lively carbonation, medium bodied, very nice balanced yeasty apple finish, tart notes. More consistent than a classic hefe, halfway between a weisse and a weizenbock. Really enjoyed, what a nice one!!

Dark golden without head. Aroma and taste: wheat and a lot of banana. Sweet and tasty. Closer than weizen german style, but different. Very good.

Yellow colour tending to Orange, delicate but complex taste. light body, thin feel, soft carbonation. It’s not the usual weizen beer.

0.75l bottle @ Local Patriot, Monfalcone. I’m a sucker for these lovely beautiful champagne bottles. It pours a hazy honey golden body with a small and sidesticking white head. It has a really nice and really fresh aroma where I get wheat, oranges and spicy yeast. It’s lively on the carbonation with a soft oily texture in the mouth. Flavors are wheaty with lemons and grass before there is a spicy yeasty thing that kicks in. I found this really tasty, and yeah, I liked it. 19.05.2012
