COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Amber is malty, medium bodied, and balanced out with hints of chocolate and caramel from the crystal malt, Munich malt, and roast barley. Cascade hops complement the malt sweetness perfectly. Starting gravity: 14.25 Plato (1.058 S.G.).

Aroma: grain and cereal malts, light nuts and caramel. Appearance: clear amber, small, white, frothy head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: light smoked malts, caramel, grains. Overall: not bad Amber Ale, interesting smokiness in plate. Pint at Glacier Brew House, Anchorage.

on tap @ Glacier / Anchorage AK --- Clear medium maple amber color, heavy white rim head, streamers of lace. Bright appealing drink. Taste is caramel malt that stays well under control through a mildly hopped finish. Very polite brew, skewed toward sweet, but enough there to make it "normal" solid brew.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a darkish amber color with a white head. A light fruity nose. The flavor is caramel, berries, oranges, light low bitter hops. Clean. Solid.

Amber-brown. Thin head. Aroma has a little cracker-caramel. Light crackery character, with some creaminess. Ok for a boring style.

This is a nice looking and nice tasting amber in the slightly-more-malty-than-a-pale-ale style. Lots of creamy carbonation, a touch of sweetness and firm hop bitterness make for a very flavorful brew.

Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice balance with hops and malt. Good aroma with a lingering citrus hops. The flavor was a crisp easy drinking amber. Very good brew.

[Tap] Tried this at the brewpub in mid-September. Pours a dark amber color without much head to speak of. Nose is of cocoa powder, molasses and grainy malts. Sweet and bready taste is of toast, sweet rolls and gentle floral hopping. Low levels of carbonation. Not a bad beer. Pretty standard though.

A copper amber alew ith a thick mocha head. In aroma, a light nutty malt. In mouth, a smooth caramel malt with light nutty notes. A bit boring. On tap at brewpub, Oct. 9 2011.
