Dark amber in color, clear with a thin head. Super oak and strong barley wine aromas. Lots of Vanilla and sweet flavors. This was one tasty brew.

Draft at the source. This might be an alias of the Makers Mark version, if the only difference is the barrel. I put it as a separate entry because it’s marketed as a different beer, and the flavor, aroma and even the appearance is very different, although the abv is the same. Anyway, it’s dark and hazy brown, medium beige head. Aroma is butterscotch, coffee, vanilla, coconut. Taste is rich and chocolatey, with caramel and coffee. Very nice.
