[Tap] Tried this at the brewpub in mid-September. Bright golden pour with a rocky white head. Sweet cereal grains, soft hops and lemongrass in the aroma. Dry and grassy/grainy taste includes a mild floral hop bite in the finish. Lively carbonation and good body for the style. A pleasant surprise.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 nearbeer (2572) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 20, 2011
Draft at the pub. Clear golden with a creamy ring of fine bubbles and lace. Mild aroma of fresh grain and grassy, citrus hops. This is a well-balanced, softly carbonated, light-medium bodied brew with a lightly crisp hop finish. Nice sessioner with a bit more flavor than most goldens.

sampler at the Glacier Brewhouse in Anchorage. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a white head. Could not pick up any aroma. Maybe it was too cold. Taste was of grain, but no yeast standing out. Mouthfeel was dry. Disappointingly bland.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 savnac (1365) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - SEP 7, 2009
On tap. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head. The aroma is bread, light citrus hops and a spicy yeast scent. Flavor is sweet malt with just the right amount of bitterness for the style. Medium to light body with ample carbonation and a crisp refreshing finish. This is a surprising treat for the typical "tourist beer" that most places put out. More flavorful than most Blond’s I’ve had and the finish is excellent.
