3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
on tap @ Glacier Brewhouse / Anchorage AK --- Clear light brass colored amber, white head cover, curtain of lace. Taste is light, somewhat thin, malt that adds sweet carbonation on the swallow, moving from there to a light dash of bittering. Light, refreshing, works well enough.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Hangar on the wharf.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy golden blonde/yellow color with a one finger white foamy head (nice, for a bar pour). There was some light lacing sliding into the beer.
The smell had a sweet malt base to it with a slight spicy hops in the background.
The taste was mainly sweet but had a light spice to it. The aftertaste was semi sweet that bled into a dry sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. The carbonation was mainly subdued.
Overall, good blonde ale worthy of having again.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Glacier beers are better anywhere but the brewpub. Fact. Anyway, this is a tasty blond. There is a nice hint of apple but the yeast character is otherwise clean. There’s a touch oof crackery malt and a tiny touch of hop bitterness in the finish. Well done and a bit unusual.
