Muddy dull tan. Light esters on the nose. Sweet and with some tartness and berries in the finish. Ok balance but the malts don’t really pop.

On tap at the brewery, Anchorage, AK. Pours hazy, deep golden with long lasting, foamy, white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of banana, yeast, wheat malt and spices. Body is light and smooth. Taste is similar to aroma. Finish is long and fruity. Nice hefe.

I am in Alaska. Fuck you! This stuff is ok. It has a mild spicy flavor, a bit sweet w/ a nice juicy texture. A bit flat, especially for the style. This is an inoffensive beer but so bland as to not really be a hefeweizen.

Super hazy orange glowing body with a thin tan head. Aroma of malt and lemons. Medium-bodied; Nice mellow yeast and wheat flavours with pungent coriander seed and curacao notes. Aftertaste shows a lot of nice sweet flavours, orange and other citrus fruits are really noticeable, but the yeast and wheat is by far the strongest. Overall, a good unfiltered hef - great to try, especially from a brewpub! I sampled this pint on draught at the brewpub in Anchorage, Alaska on 26-June-2010.

Draft: Poured a murky yellow orange with fluffy white head. Aroma is nice with soft grain, light banana, and wheat. Taste is nice banana based with sweet grain and balanced bitter wheat.

8oz pour at Glacier brewhouse. Golden in color, hazy and thin head. Nice wheat malt lots of banana and other fruit like aromas. Flavor was strong in wheat malt with banana and clove flavors.

Golden straw in color, hazy with a thin head. Decent fruit like wheat flavor and aroma. Light hops linger as the wheat malt was thick and smooth in flavor. Nice average fruit in my beer drink.

[Tap] Tried this at the brewpub in mid-September. Hazy and golden in color. Includes a large and pillowy white head. Nose is heavy on phenols, with clove and a light medicinal character. Mild esters, vanilla, banana, wheat malts and Band-Aid twang in the taste. Average body for an American-made version of the style. I didn’t really care for this one too much, but maybe I tried a bad keg of it. I am also a stickler with the style.

Draft at the pub. Cloudy yellow-amber with a creamy ring of bubbles. Spicy clean aroma of clove, citrusy yeast and a hint of banana. The flavors are the same but softened by some wheat and a bit more of the banana flavor against the sharper citrus and clove. Light-medium body is soft and finishes crisp and refreshing. Very good example of the style.

On tap: Boston’s Pizza, Fairbanks. Poured a very nice deep yellow orange with a thick white head. Not a whole lot of aroma just slight yeast notes and some banana. Flavor is mild banana and yeast. The finish is what kills me. Quite dry.
