Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Big hops aroma and light malt. Big hops flavor with a silky smooth malt backing. Lots of fruit like hops flavors in the brew. Very tasty IPA.

Draft at the brewhouse in downtown Anchorage. Pours a foggy deep orange color with a thin head. Light, citrusy aroma with a sense of hops. Not much in the flavor. Some hops. But the balance is off. This needs some work.

Draught at the brewery. Pours hazy orange with a medium, frothy off-white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruit, and dank hops with cracker malt. Flavor is heavy dank, citrus, and tropical fruit hops and moderate bitterness, medium cracker malt and a dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation, and a pleasant light alcohol warmth.

Notes from Alaska trip (2 Sept 2012) Looks somewhat like a Hefeweizen, cloudy bright golden with a foamy off-white head. Nice hoppy scent, good tangerine hop flavor, good bitterness. Decent IPA!

Aroma: tropical and citrus fruits, mandarines, light floral hops. Appearance: hazy gold, frothy, small, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: exotic fruits exploding, passion fruits, some malty sweetness. Overall: nice IPA, really enjoyed both aroma and palate. Pint at Glacier Brew House, Anchorage.

on tap # Glacier / Anchorage AK --- Hazy medium amber color, bright white head cover, thick curtain of lace. Glowing, frothy, great-looking brew. Aroma of citrus. Taste is semi-sweet malt with citrus fruit that is cut on the swallow by clean hops. Meanwhile the malt grows stronger and sweeter as it moves through a balanced, lingering finish. An interesting, solid brew. Recommended.
