3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Taphouse Grill in Seattle. Colour...clear amber with a moderately thick off white head. Nose...citrusy with a lean towards the grapefruity side. Palate...moderate CO2, a quick shot of grapefruit rind and pith and then a bit of malt that balances things out quite nicely. There’s some biscuit here and some marmalade as well. Generally a well balanced IPA.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ Chuck’s 85th. First time I’ve had a Glacier beer... Pours bright yellow golden with thin white head. Aroma is thin lightly sweet pale malt and just a hint of earthy hops. Taste is clean crisp light pale malt, big earthy bitter hops with mild notes of pine and white pepper. Not a huge IPA by any means, but tasty light malt and big bitter hops.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
6/3/08 On draught. The hops tend to be very earthy with a stong resiny influence. Still, balances quite well with the sweet malt.
