This is our green giant. If you like hop aroma, flavor, and a clean - crisp - balanced bitterness, you will love this one. Unfiltered and incredibly fruity. Big floral and citrus aromas abound. 51 IBU

On tap at Collins a while back. Light amber with big fluffy off white head. Very nice citrus aroma and taste. Great fresh hop taste. Just a bit fbitter in the finish; balanced quite well. Love the hops in this. Not sweet at all. Head stayed fluffy the whole way down.

Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Big hops aroma and light malt. Big hops flavor with a silky smooth malt backing. Lots of fruit like hops flavors in the brew. Very tasty IPA.

On tap at West Rib in Talkeetna, Ak. Poured an orange/copper color with an off white head. Aroma of citrus, spice, caramel, earth, maybe some pine and citrus. Flavor had a good dose of citrus, caramel, citrus, rye and a bit of alcohol. Good stuff.

[Tap] Tried this at the brewpub in mid-September. Pours a very light shade of amber with a large white head. Hoppy aroma of pine sap, oranges and grapefruit zest. The hop profile in the flavor is a bit more subdued, but pleasant. Biscuit, floral hop notes, lemon in the taste. Bitter finish. Low carbontion made this seem a little flat. A good IPA that keeps its hoppiness in check.

A hazed blonde IPA with a thin creamy lacing off white head. In aroma, a smooth floral hops, pinhey and restrained, over biscuit malt. In mouth, a nice grassy citrusy hops over caramel malt, light pink grapefruits, not bad. On tap at brewpub, Oct. 9 2011.

On tap at Glacier Brewhouse, Anchorage. Hazy medium orange body, medium puffy off-white head. Citrus nose with bitter orange or tangerine peel. Rindy body with bitter, slightly sweet citrus rind, nicely backed by bready malts. Full-flavored and quite good.

From a 64oz growler flown back from Alaska and given to me by a friend. Poured into a shaker. Color is a hazy golden orange. Small amount of bright white head that slowly dissipates and leaves good lacing. Aroma is heavily hoppy. Citrus and grassy. Also slightly fruity. Mandarin orange or apricot. Taste is heavily bitter. Lightly sweet and lightly sour on the aftertaste. Medium to almost full bodied, it has a oily and slick texture. Soft carbonation and a long bitter finish. Overall, it’s a pretty damn good beer. This would be perfect with a big plate of BBQ and a side of tater salad. If I ever make it up to Alaska, I’ll definitly have to stop in this place and try it again. Good thing I still have 50oz of goodness left in the growler!

Draft at the pub. Had this one from both the keg and the cask, as it also happened to be the cask selection at the time. Both versions were hazy, amber-gold with a thin ring of bubbles. Big nose of grapefruit with some touches of cereal. Flavor is pretty much the same, with some added floral and orange hop notes on the finish. Well-crafted session IPA is softly carbonated and light-medium bodied, with a crisp finish.

Solid beer. On tap at Double Musky, Girdwood, AK. Terrific honey floral aroma with warmth. Nice clear gold color. Good balance and clean finish. Classic West Coast IPA without venturing into hop bomb territory. No complaints.

Tap. Pleasant citrus hop, light malt, and some tropical fruit undertone. Average but quite nice.

On tap at Bottleworks, pours copper with a small white head. Aroma of hops, biscuit and a little ginger (?). Flavour reveals more of that ginger, coriander, biscuit and hops. Quite different and nice.
