CaptBier (252), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Jul 5, 2008 On tap on Independence Day ’08 at Rays Waterfront in Seward, Ak. Nice burnt orange color with lasting white head and average aroma. Flavor is great, floral, and easy to drink Not too heavy and the hop flavor is wonderful. Wish I could get this nearby.
rkuhnel (1102), Eureka, California, USA Jun 26, 2008 On draft, this was a rich copper color with a light pinkish head and moderate lacing. Nose of floral and citrus hops, and a smooth and clean mouthfeel. Flavor is dominated by the citrus, and there is a satisfying and nicely biter finish. A well balanced and quite drinkable IPA. Bradrcr (606), Renton, Washington, USA Jun 14, 2008 6/3/08 On draught. The hops tend to be very earthy with a stong resiny influence. Still, balances quite well with the sweet malt. crackedmachine (5), Seattle, Washington, USA does not count Jun 9, 2008 A nice surprise, on tap at Duck Island. A highly drinkable, moderately bitter IPA with very nice citrus and mild pine flavors. Big head. A delicious, not-too-strong ale for hop lovers. riversideAK (1583), Shoreline, Washington, USA Apr 3, 2008 Tap at Brouwers. A nice aroma of citrus, and herbal cat pee/weed. Pours a hazy golden tone with a great fluffy lasting head. Nice moderate hop profile with floral, citrus, and weed flavors accompanied by some light caramel malt to add some sense of balance. A nice IPA.
