COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of the first things you notice about our Glacier Select Oktoberfest is the beautiful dark copper-amber color. Next, you enjoy the subtle aroma of Noble German hops. Finally, a complicated but balanced malt and hop mouthfeel. Truly, worthy to be poured all year!

Part of the tasting platter @ the brewpub. Clear medium amber, medium off white head leaves light lace. Sweet caramel and tea aroma. Simple caramel flavour, marzipan, light tannic bitterness. Just okay.

Bottled in Columbia Falls, MT. Clear nut brown, small head. Light strawberry and car, amel aroma. Sweet with clean mouthfeel and medium body. Sloppy caramel flavour, low bitterness. With it’s hard barren malt character and simplistic caramel flavour it’s dull and falls pretty much as far from an okotberfest as is possible.

Sample at brewery. Clear amber, thin beige head. Aroma of floral hops and caramel. Taste is also more hop dominated than expected, mostly floral, good caramel balance. Not like most Marzens I’ve had.

Darker amber pour with nice sized tan head. Roasted, nutty nose. Flavor is caramel with a touch of fruit and some toasted malt. Nice texturee, never would expect it to be that high in alcohol.

This was a great seasonal brew. Sligthly spicy, malty, delicious. Went down very smooth. Thoroughly enjoyed. Enjoyed at the brewery.

Tasted 10/11/07. 12oz bottle. Brought back from a road trip by Dan. Mildly hazy with slight sediment. Slight ring of off-whhite head. Good sweet malty nose. Touch cookie bready. Medium bodied with sweet malt character. Nice balance. Caramel with berry fruity undertones. Subtle cola stickiness and effervescence. Smooth mild hops. Tingling with a touch tart. Subtle alcohol presence. Toasty. Good brew! Unique opportunity!

Draft pint at the brewery taproom. Wow, this is dark, a deep reddish amber. At 6.7%, the rich maltiness dominates this brew and it’s deliciously flavorful, if not exactly fitting a classical O-fest style basis ... Quite yummy. (#2854, 5/12/2007)
