500ml bottle, drunk at home, 9th May 2011. Thanks to my friend Mark M for this. Near black with a small white head. Chocolate malt on nose and full roasted malt flavour. Quite thin palate for a stout. Dry finish, very tasty. I could definitely drink several.

Aroma is surprisingly light with roastiness and cocoa. Flavour is rather dry with roasted malt and some peat. Dry and roasted finish. Rather nice real ale with rich flavour palette.

Bottle 50cl. Pours a dark brown colour, now carbonation and a small head. Dark chocolat smell with a good nose of hops there too. Taste is very rich and varied, can distinguish nuts, blueberries and of course hops. Goes down very smooth.

Oakes (10191) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 1, 2010
Bottle. Dark brown. The aroma is nutty and with a hint of fudge. Chocolatey, slightly fudgey and toasty. Decent beer - lacks a little life out of the bottle compared with some of the other Glastonburys I’ve had. Will have to track down on cask.

Beershine (4741) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - SEP 24, 2010
Bottle. Opaque brown--black with a healthy head. Dense carob, chocolate, and coal in the nice aroma. High carbonation. A little prickly but smooth. Bit of chalkiness dries out the finish. Rich with minerals and coffee bean. Excellent toasty finish.
