Cask-conditioned at the Royal Oak, Bath 22/12/10. reddish copper in colour with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish, malty aroma with some red fruit and vague hint of spice. Flavours of caramel, berry fruit and nutmeg with a decent, bitter finish. A pretty good winter beer.

Bottle. Copper with a small head. Aromas are berries and spices with raisins and yeast. Some roast coffee notes. Flavours are soft yeast and berries with sweet toffee. Not bad.
