Light and golden coloured best bitter with a robust malt character. Strong bitterness provided by Challenger hops gives way to a light floral aftertaste, thanks to the addition of American Mount Hood hops. Full of flavour and decptively drinkable.
Ingredients: Maris Otter pale malt, wheat malt and caramalt. Challenger and Mount Hood hops

new label, 500ml, golden chalice, 4.8%, Real Ale. quite hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of malts, hop, yeast, citrus, orange, straw. Taste of citrus, slightly acidic, malts, pilsener/lager, caramalts, biscuit, orange, quite some fruit flavors, still yeasty and bitterness as base, medium body, slightly sour finish, a lot of yeasty notes over-all.

Bottle, light amber with a fine fast-settling head and a faintly vegetal nose. Golden malt and a sharp herbal bitterness. Hints of bread, hay, and faintly of grapefruit.

Bottle on holiday in Lyme Regis. Hazy gold beer, no head. Palate is light and almost carbonation free! Moderately sweet malts. Ripe orange with orange peel and orange squash. Light semi dry finish. Okay flavour - flat palate!

Bottled, 500ml from Truckles Farm Shop, Burnham on Sea, Somerset. Hazed gold with slight head. There is a slightly tart fruity character to this right from the start, a touch of peachy sourness. Perfumed, floral notes later on. Not really for me.

Bottle, 500ml. A golden colour with a huge white head. Aroma of sweet citrus and hops. Flavour has lime and hops, a little caramel in the finish. Very nice and drinkable but over carbonated.
