Slightly coffee-tinged brown ale aroma. Taste completely different, more like fruit tea and a touch of light belgian ale. Something a bit watery and dishwatery about the taste, but has decent nuttiness too, and some fruity esters. OK quaff, but not jumping out and grabbing me. Later I am sure I detected clove.

Bottle 50cl. Pours a clear amber colour with no carbonation and a small head. Vague malty aroma, not much there. Taste is much richer and a nicely balanced malty fresh beer, goes down very clean.

Cool bottle/design with a drawing of the mystical Glastonbury tor ...not sure what the ’Lady of The Lake’ has to do with anything other than King Arthur , but its not given reference of on the bottle. My first sip I got peppery alcohol dryness ,like waves on my tonsils...1 very malty beer. Rich, buttery sweet caramel offering. Pretty floral and hoppy too. Those Fuggles are pretty hard to miss. Nice beer .

Copper golden color, small white head. Honeyish flowery hoppy aroma. Watery palate. Caramelly, hard malty front. Finishing more fruity. Long bitter aftertaste with hints of nuts. Simple, very standard real ale.
