Canterbury Fest. Lagerish dry session bitter with some gentle dusty English hops. Some soft fruit up front. Very pleasant. Always difficult for session bitters to get high marks, but this was decent enough without being outstanding.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer fest ’11. Gold with white head. Moderate bode but with a good sharp, tangy bitter orange note over the top. Bittersweet and refreshing, definitely quite sessionable, a well constructed beer.

Cask @ GBBF 2009. Pours a golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty and hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy flavor with some hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Deep gold with a slight white head. Sweet malt aroma, with some orange fruit and leafy hops. Flavours of biscuit malts, some citrus hops and a decent bitter finish. Good.

Bottle. Golden and very clear.pored with a small head and was slightly bitter.
Plenty of body considering its fairly low strength. A peasant and impressive bitter.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. (070808)
