Bottle. Brewtique, Macclesfield. Clear, copper colour. Thin, dense, lasting, off white head. Fruity sweet. Soft toffee. Buttery toast. Taste is toffee sweet, light dry, with a little bitterness. Soft, smooth palate. Some boozy warmth. Lip sticking. Finishes light bitter, and fairly dry. Very tasty. A bit heady.

Glazen Toren strong ale since 2008, with off-white head and deep copper colour with brownish hue. Aroma’s of pear, cherries, lots of caramel, honey, herbal hops. Starts off sweetish, then more caramelly, finishing in a leafy, mild hop bitterness. Well done.

Bottle from a belgian shop (forgot which one). Dark fruity malty smell, also light boozy. Sweet taste with ripe dark fruit. Light carbonation and bitterness.

Pours a hazy orange-brown colour with a cream coloured head. Smells floral, spicy, citrus, and spruce. Taste is a medium sweetness with a light bitterness. Flavours are very well balanced between the clove, fruit, yeast, and caramel. A very smooth beer. A little bitter and short on the finish yet somehow refreshing. Very enjoyable!

Color ottone cn schiuma bianca abbondante e mediamente persistente. Aroma complesso con profumi alcolici trionfano i malti pane e caramello ma sis sente anche terra e resina. Gusto equilibratissimo

Bottle, shared at game night. Pretty auburn colour, lively off white head. Honey, toast, sultanas, low bitterness. A pleasant Belgian ale.

750ml, paper wrapper but capped, not corked. It says "dubbel" on the label, but is lighter in color. Of course, dubbel is ultimately about strength. This doesn’t feel heavy, and it’s pretty fizzy. Raisins, maybe, but generally lighter fruits. Enough hops to dry it out. Long aftertaste.

Bottle shared thanks to estover. Pours a copper color with a white head. Aromas of hay and toast. Taste is sweet and very caramel-like. High carb and light body. Dry finish.

FROTHINGSLOSH (5077) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 30, 2014
From the March 2014 Pittsburgh Ratebeer gathering. +++ Sampled from a 750 ml brown bottle this beer poured a dark caramel-brown color with an enormous fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was bread, dark fruits and dust. The flavor was tart and bitter with notes of pepper, bread, a touch of astringency and perfume. Long tart pepper and perfume finish. Medium body. Meh.
