75 cl bottle. Dark amber, hazy liquid with thick, medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel, noble hops, spice and banana. Taste is light sweet, light to medium bitter, and malty. Medium bodied with good carbonation.

Slightly hazy reddish-brown with a medium white head. Aroma of yeast, malt and some hops. The same in the rather sweet taste. Also notes of dark fruit and rye bread. Descent.

Tydlig belgisk karaktär med starka jästsmaker som kommer igenom. Vacker att se på, både i flaska och i glas. Drack på Emmelies 24 års fest, lite för sent för att kunna ge en helt rättvis bedömning.

En dubbel med en skön tvist. Lätt grumlig brun vätska, tydlig humling och bra kryddning åt vörtbrödshållet gör den till en av de bästa dubblarna jag provat.

Bottle. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter and light sweet flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Bottle from Vinens Verden.Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are sweet dried fruits, yeast, caramel, malt and hops. Nice and warming.

Ordered this bottle online. Served in a Mikasa goblet.
Pours a very nice red-brown with a huge, huge, huge off-white head. The retention was persistent to the point of being annoying as I’ve wanted to try this one for awhile and I wanted to jump right in. Loads and loads of thick lacing on the sides of the glass. The beer could not look any better.
The nose carries plenty of dark fruit and a bit of brown sugar and molasses. Some light cherry notes there as well, along with a bit of faint spice. The flavor is fairly complex with a bit of a light tartness to accompany a bit of sweetness. Good dark fruit character throughout. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Really interesting and tasty. This dubbel is a winner.
