3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 reebtogi (3266) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 1, 2012
750ml bottle pours a light golden color with a 2 finger white head that settles slowly and leaves a thin spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild fruits and hops with a slight hint of yeast. Taste is light fruity and grainy malt sweetness with some mild citrusy hops in the finish. Medium bodied and nicely carbonated leaving a nice feeling on the tastebuds. A well crafted tripel that is just a basic tripel and quite satisfying.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 bartlebier (463) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - JUN 29, 2012
Nice medium-bodied and creamy, but dry, very dry "sainson"ized tripel - quite traditional really. Found all floral/hoppy notes secondary to its all-pervasive tripleness. Luckily no caramel malts, tastes very healhy/bio/artisanal (= good, no Leffe).
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 tinybears (38) - BELGIUM - JUN 21, 2012
Golden color with creamy head which disappears quickly. Aroma of hop, floral, citrus. Sweet taste with light bitterness. Actually quit heavy for its smell, but a typical triple. Aftertaste could be better. Comes in nice paper wrapped bottle. Also nice as a gift.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Ocean82 (77) - Virginia, USA - JUN 18, 2012
Poured into goblet. Hazy dark yellow almost orangish color with a minuscule head. Smells slightly sour with hints of grass and pear. Floral flavors with light grassiness and a sour fruitiness. Not overly complex. Very carbonated with a sour dry finish. Westmalle Tripel is preferred, but this really isn't my style of beer.
--- Cheers
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Hirotoma (471) - Bologna, ITALY - JUN 18, 2012
Un’altra ottima tripla bevuta di recente, leggermente più amare delle altre triple e con sentori abbastanza pronunciati di limone sia nell’aroma che nel gusto!
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 NikkTwist (892) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 16, 2012
Draft at Farmers Cabinet. Light golden pour with minimal head. Aroma is a fragment sour. Tastes sour as well but with a big wildflower honey flavor. Nice clean citric sour. Minimal funk. Juicy light fruit flavors. Lemon. Apricot. Tangerine. Nicely blended.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Mr_TBone (168) - Hollywood, California, USA - MAY 31, 2012
Dug it - Big fruity nose with a yeasty punch. Didn’t get the typical spiciness (from lack of spice and possibly yeast?) but had some nice musty, pear, and a touch of grassy/earthy hops. Great drinker, dried out nicely, light malt undertones.
