Ondineke is a classic tripel, brewed in the ancient way, again with exclusive natural ingredients: artesian water, malt (barley), hops, yeast and liquid candy sugar. As in the Saison no spices are added. Ondineke is an unfiltered top fermenting beer. It is soft, creamy, and of golden color. It is double hopped with the last real hops available from the region of Aalst (The variety is Hallertau Mittelfrüh). Ondineke has a positive taste evolution and the bottles are best kept standing in a cool, dark place. It is best before two years after the bottling date. 8.5 % alc.vol. makes this a beer to be savoured. Preferably Ondineke is to be served at a temperature between 6 to 10° C. Moreover Ondineke is at its best when served in the originally designed Glazen Toren glass.

Open this one over the sink!! I lost the top quarter of the bottle to foaming. Luckily I decided to open this ahead of time so I continued to enjoy what was in my glass as this science experiment spewed beer out of the top for about 5 minutes. I assumed I was not going to be able to pour this (because of the CO2 level) be it cooperated nicely into the glass. The first thing that got me is that it smelled like yogurt. So that it why it is a gusher. Contamination by a lactic culture. This ruined it for me. It translated to the palate as well and it became an expensive drain pour.

Bottle. Hazy yellow with a medium sized white head with good retention, lace and regeneration. Minerals, citrus, hay, dough and dry flowers in the nose. Flavour follows: Minerals, dry flowers, citrus, hay and peaches. Medium body, fine carbonation, relatively low sweetness, solid bitternes. Fruity finish, no alcohol showing. Well done.

Bottle shared at Ryan’a August 2016 tasting. Pours a deep, hazy golden body with thick white head. Notes of spice, fruit, candied sugar, lemon, grains and a distinct Belgian breadiness to it. Nice Belgian Tripel offering, especially if that’s your thing.

Pana średnio pęcherzykowa, obfita, szybko opada do pierzynki. Barwa złota, opalizująca, piwo ładnie pracuje w szkle. Zapach słodkich owoców - brzoskwinia, nektarynka, gruszka, melon oraz przypraw - czerwony pieprz, skórka pomarańczy. W smaku półsłodkie, owocowe (wszystkie owoce z zapachu plus kandyzowana morela), kwiatowe (akacja, lipa, rumianek), fenolowe z posmakami syropu klonowego i miodu lipowego oraz delikatnie drożdżowe.

Urzekający owocowością i gładkością tripel.

Brilliant triple. Very rounded aftertaste. I prefer to drink it rather cold since it brings a more crisp flavor.

Many thanks for this beer to JefVerstraete. Papier owiniety w butelke, kolorowy kapsel. Baba nagazowania, albo przypadkowo wstrzasnalem. Piana spora obfita trwala, sniezno biala grubo pecherzykowa. Kolor zlocisty jaskrawy i metny. Zapach pomaranczy zarowno owocu jak i skorki. Smak typowy jak na tripel. Slodowy, lekko kwaskowy i lekko goryczkowy. Alkohol dobrze ukryty. Serwowane w temperaturze 8 stopni w tulipanie Duvel.i moze dzieki temu to dobry Tripel.
