Commercial Description:
Ondineke is a classic tripel, brewed in the ancient way, again with exclusive natural ingredients: artesian water, malt (barley), hops, yeast and liquid candy sugar. As in the Saison no spices are added. Ondineke is an unfiltered top fermenting beer. It is soft, creamy, and of golden color. It is double hopped with the last real hops available from the region of Aalst (The variety is Hallertau Mittelfrüh). Ondineke has a positive taste evolution and the bottles are best kept standing in a cool, dark place. It is best before two years after the bottling date. 8.5 % alc.vol. makes this a beer to be savoured. Preferably Ondineke is to be served at a temperature between 6 to 10° C. Moreover Ondineke is at its best when served in the originally designed Glazen Toren glass.

Tap at Toronado. Pours with a golden color.Aromas of yeast, some fruity and tart flavors, a bit of apple pie as well as some spiciness. Not the most flavorful tripel.

Bottled. Cloudy orange, lively head. Fruity estery nose. Sweet with concentrated juicy fruit flavours combined with dense doughy malt. Full bodied. Tropical fruits and esters are there. Salty finish with some light arousing alcohol.

75cl bottle from Kingdom Liquors (Tampa, FL). Pours a hazy, caramel golden color with a thick and frothy white head that stands two fingers and gently subsides. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma: Sweet, honey, caramel, sweet ripe apples, candy sugar, pear, some spice. Flavor: sweet malt, ripe fruit, yeast, bread, hint of spice, citrus, and flowers. Medium-bodied with a very slight bitterness on finish.

On draft at the brickstore. Aroma has a very enjoyable pungent and spicyness to it. Poured a clear orange color with a big offwhite head that I haven’t been as enteratined by in a long while. Flavor is a little lacking in complexity but still a good full bodied and citrusy drink. Got more citrus and spice than anything else and the finish leaves a chalky residue. You are left with a slightly bitter hop tang at the end as well.

Pours a cloudy golden with a large white head. Aroma is medium sweet candi sugar, yeast spice, peach and caramel. Flavor is peach, candi sugar, spice, alcohol and pils malt. Somewhat long dry finish. Medium-full body, somewhat thin for the style.
