COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ondineke is a classic tripel, brewed in the ancient way, again with exclusive natural ingredients: artesian water, malt (barley), hops, yeast and liquid candy sugar. As in the Saison no spices are added. Ondineke is an unfiltered top fermenting beer. It is soft, creamy, and of golden color. It is double hopped with the last real hops available from the region of Aalst (The variety is Hallertau Mittelfrüh). Ondineke has a positive taste evolution and the bottles are best kept standing in a cool, dark place. It is best before two years after the bottling date. 8.5 % alc.vol. makes this a beer to be savoured. Preferably Ondineke is to be served at a temperature between 6 to 10° C. Moreover Ondineke is at its best when served in the originally designed Glazen Toren glass.

Dug it - Big fruity nose with a yeasty punch. Didn’t get the typical spiciness (from lack of spice and possibly yeast?) but had some nice musty, pear, and a touch of grassy/earthy hops. Great drinker, dried out nicely, light malt undertones.

This rating is for Glazen Toren Zymatore Ondineke. Part of the barrel aging Zymatore project, this beer was aged by the importer/distributor (United) in barrels from late harvest zinfandel. On tap at Pizza Paradiso in Georgetown, Washington, DC. Clear, but with a pale haze, pale straw color with a small head and excellent lacing. Aroma sour, yeast, citrus and light malt. Taste similar. Quite sour with a balancing sweetness. Medium/light body and mild carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Come disse Topolino "slurp".

Zymatore edition, aged in Late Harvest Zinfandel barrels. draft @ redlight redlight. Tart and acidic aromas. Pours slightly hazy blonde with little to no head, very low carbonation rate. Tart apples upfront, very acidic up front with bready malts and a heavy tannin finish. Very lambic like.

Sample at Buckeye Beer Engine on 3/9/12. Clear yellow/gold pour with a medium white head. Nose is banana, spice and funky fruit. Malty flavor with a bit of tartness and funky brett with a crisp finish.

A light orange yellow beer with a medium and white head. Aroma is fresh and strongly fruity, some sweetness and belgian yeast, lots of spices, even some parfume. Taste is also strongly fruity, spicyness, some sourness, no alcohol. With yeast more smooth, round and plesant. Medium bodied, lots of carbonation, nice and fresh to drink. The basic Triple without specialites, but still succesfull and very tastefull.
