Big offwhite head. Hazy yellow body with light carbonation. Spicy tropical fruit aroma with grape notes. Sweetish fruity mealy grape taste with herbal spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Sweetish smoky fruity mealy aftertaste with coriander notes. Very nice. Harmonic and highly drinkable. (0.75l bottle, from wine monopoly Storo, Oslo.)

Geproefd als Lentebier Speciale Saison. Troebel blond bier met witte schuimkraag. Geur: moutzoetig, hoppig en een zuurtje. Smaak: bitterig en zurige appels. Redelijk wat koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: zoetig.

Flaska belgoklubben.

75 cl bottle, brew date january 16th, obtained through Belgoklubben. And no, as opposed to the title on this page, the correct name is Lentebier and nothing else. Yellowish golden with a firm white head, dissipates slowly leaving lots of lacings. Aroma is super fresh, you can smell the cut grass and hay from the fields of East Flanders, white bread, minerals, noble hops, slight sweet - just lovely. Taste is bready and hoppy upfront, yeasty, citrus, grassy then sweeter just before a floral bitterness kicks in, rustic feel with minerals, slight alcohol and dryness in the finish. Big body, high carbo. Fresh, rustic and drinkable, great.

LLaurin (278) - Motala, SWEDEN - MAR 19, 2016
Pours with a rich white head. Notes of lemongrass and some yeast in nose and taste. Fresh notes of fine hops with a long ending and remaining slight bitterNess and noble fruit.
