Pours a cloudy blonde beer with a big white head. Well saturated also. Smells fresh floral, you can smell the wheat. A bit grassy also. Not a lot of aroma overall. Tastes hop bitter and a bit spicy. A well saturated mouth feel with a strong lingering bitterness. Tastes like a good fresh saison like it should be.

(backlog ZBF 04/2013) 75cl bottle, poured and sold in pretty spring-yellow wrapper as "Lentebier" saison at the same 9%. sweeter esters bringing fruitier compote notes to the fore than usual in a saison, while still keeping some dryness, astringent aftertaste. As balanced, spectacularly modest acquired taste a standout beer, albeit with odd ABV for a spring beer, at ZBF for me.

Pours a slightly hazed gold into a tulip. White head with excellent retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Cookie and hay aromas. Dry with sweet caramel, bread and honey upfront turning to mild bitter earth in the lasting finish. Tastes like a tripel....

Bottle. Hazed gold with a fine white head. Candy sugar, honey malt, pineapple soda, white peaches and white pepper aroma. Sweet, sugary, cloying fruity taste. Small touch of overripe apple. Light touches of minerals, metal and a bit of solvent with a pear and banana fruit flavor. Creamy carbonation and soft body. Very much like a triple, or what I remember of them.

75cl. Thanks to thirstybird! Version 2012 with fresh Hallertauer Hops! Mild-weicher Antrunk, 9% nicht zu spüren. Dabei etwas muffig. Der Nachgeschmack ist etwas metallisch, komisch-chemisch. Lang anhaltend, aber das machts nicht besser... --> sehr enttäuschend... 8/9/7/7

Pours a rich golden color with a three finger foam sticky head... Some doughy bread, honey, citrus pith, pepper, floral honey, touch of grassy bitterness. Round nicely carbonated bitter finish.... spicy floral finish. Nice beer.
