Alla spina. Assaggiata insieme alla saison tradizionale, questa è meno profumata, più secca e la gradazione si fa sentire, al contrario che nella classica saison. Ottima birra, comunque

Poured from bottle, hazy orange gold with high white head. Aroma with strong notes of yeast, banana, herbs and cloves. Taste is semi dry, a little sweetness, a light to medium body and a dry finish. Lots of CO2 carry the flavours and It's a gem of a beer.

Mycket god.

Bottle shared by Shawn. Pours a cloudy orange color with a large white head. A big fresh fruity nose, banana, big malts. Yeasty, oranges, massive banana and phenolic esters, bubblegum. Big malty beast on the sweet strong side. Good.

Bottle @ Three Notch’d Tasting. Amber pour with a small head. Nose is cheesy, funky, full of character. Some cork, dried wood. Yeasty. Taste is quite strong. Plenty of apples, woody dried cheese. Pollen and honeycomb. Full body, soft carbonation.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Supermarket Foco. Pours a clear yellow orange appearance with a big, fluffy off white head. Plenty of perfume and white flowers in the nose with some lemon syrup, banana, and white pepper. Gooey and effervescent. Thick lemon-lime, pineapple flavor. Mild spice. Moderately high sweetness. Slightly artificial flavor with a touch of booze on the finish. Disappointing.

Bottle. Head is initially large, frothy/creamy, white, mostly lasting. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), with notes of taffy, gum, fennel seed, plastic, celery. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Medium to full body, syrupy/oily/velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic. A weird, mostly unpleasant beer. Aroma has a couple nice things but the plastic, celery, artificial taffy-ish sorta notes tend to dominate. Those dirty aspects carry through to the mouth experience in the finish, and the mouthfeel is slick and syrupy, just not enjoyable. Looks nice, but that’s about it. This brewery has seemingly lost its way in the past several years.
