(draught at monks cafe) opaque pale yellow, thick lasting creamy head. Nose of spices, florals and quite fruity. Taste of white pepper, freshly cracked, quite floral, hibiscus tea, allspice or chai as well. Body is light and refreshing but a bit sweet on the palate.

yngwie (9205) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 30, 2011
Bottle, 75cl, at Cafe Ondineke, Aalst. It pours a hazy, orange-golden body under a big, creamy, white head leaving lacings. Orange peel, some pale malts and a generic fruityness on the nose. The flavor has some citric acidity and bitterness, with orange peel and lemon peel as well as white sugar. A faint touch of Brett too, and towards the very end some hoppy bitterness kicks in and stays. Full-bodied, dry and effervescent. A tasteful, quenching and quite lovely saison. 110430

750 ml bottle @ Café Ondineke in Aalst. Hazy golden body with a nice, big white head. Aroma is refreshing fruity, spicy and malt. Flavor is refreshing as well with fruit, both citric and some ripe apple, spicy, malt and almost a hint of funkiness. Medium body, balanced flavor – all in all a really nice saison.

Tap. Cloudy sunflower yellow with a very thin white head. Pepper and yeast in the aroma with a lot of spice. Earthy hops, yeast, and a good deal of sweetness and spice come through with the finish. Medium body with very soft carbonation. Not my thing.
