Bottled. Pours clear, deep golden with a large, lacing, white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus and bread. Sweet flavor that ends up dry, acidic and bitter. Medium bodied, watery texture and soft carb. A very nice Saison.

Wow quite an impressive saison, silky texture and lovely balance of biscuit malt and apricot fruitiness with a clean finish and dangerously high drinkability :)

langeveld12 (202) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 29, 2014
Pours a large creamy white head that moatly diminishes. Body is hazy light yellow, sparkles are visible. Aroma contains moderate malts (cookie, hay), light hops (spruce, orange, lemon), lightnyeast (dough, leather) and banana, bubble gum, ineapple, cherry and other aour fruits and slight alcohol. Flavor starts off light acidic, then light sweet is added, then it's light acidic and light bitter and finally it finishes in bitter. Body is medium with creamy texture and soft carbonation. Refreshing, quite balanced, dry finish. Good.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2014 Bottle. Pours a pear juice color, very hazy, large sediments. Aromas of white wine grapes, Emerthaler cheese, Rochefort cheese. Real nice. Taste is mellow and very well balanced, sightly citric but mostly creamy. Dried citrus fruits, hint of Rochefort again. Mellow and agreeing aftertaste. Not bad, would definitely recommend this as appetizer to a nice summer meal.

Bottle.
Appearance: Hazy golden body, almost milky, with a towering fluffy white head.
Aroma: Slightly yeasty with some phenols, a tad peppery, with prominent lemon aromas, though not out of balance. The aroma is a bit mellow, but itís enjoyable and nice for the style.
Taste: Very nicely balanced. Hints of malt with balanced lemon and peppery phenols. The spice, malts and citrus are nicely balanced.
Palate: Creamy body, but definitely lacking in bubbles on the tongue.
Overall: I feel that I would like this much better if the carbonation were there. Itís odd though, it has a huge head but the body is just lacking because of the lack of carbonation. Really nicely balanced though, if this were available in cans Iíd pick this up through the Summer.

Bottle, shared at the lake. Hazy medium gold colour with an enormous and messy white head. Aroma is yeasty, hay, with a touch of dried apricot. Fairly malt heavy, pale and biscuity, but lacking brightness. Again the dominant fruit ester for me here is dried apricot, and there is very little in the way of spiciness or hops. Disappointing overall, given the hype.

Light yellow orange with a big head. Wheat malt, some bubblegum, very spritzy, and very estery. Taste is a bit all over the place, alcohol is present, and a weird aftertaste together with an alcohol feel, itís very ester and yeast dominant.

Light hazy orange body with no head. Aroma is lightly acidic with malty tones. Taste has corn sweetness in the front with light earthy bitterness to balance out. Body is medium, low carbonation.
