Pours a nice golden color with a good-sized white head that leaves very little lacing. Musty aromas of fruit and spices. Flavors of spices, yeast, fruit and grass. Medium-bodied with substantial carbonation. Finishes dry. Overall a solid Saison but nothing stands out about it.

Pours a pale straw yellow with a very foamy huge white head...lively looking. Aroma is slightly sweet and yeasty with fruity notes and subtle spice. Flavor is fairly intense...bit of funk and leather, decent spice, subtle sour...champagney. mouthfeel is very lively with a dry lingering lightly spicy finish. Pretty nice but I was expecting more as USA Drafte billed it as one of the years top 25 beers. Disagree there.

Bottle @ home, shared with DutchDrebus. Standard golden color, average white head. Very nice aroma (@DutchDrebus: fungus?? Did we really have the same bottle? ;)), fresh, citrus and grassy. Also a nice taste and average carbo and body.

Bottled sample shared with oakbluff. Pink gold in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas are of pilsner malt, lime leaves, cork, aloe, and yeast. Flavours are of vanilla sugar cookies, pastry flour, black pepper, and a lemon/lime hop combo. Drying on the palate. Light bodied and refreshing. Well executed, although I’d like to try a fresher sample someday to see if the hop profile is a bit stronger.

750 ml paper wrapped bottle with green and yellow label from Frank Smith’s. Pours turbid dull medium gold, with big fluffy noisy white head. The head is boisterous as any I’ve experienced, and says, "Hey dipshit, get your earlobe off of me!" as I go in for an auditory assessment. The nose is a nice pronounced funky horseblankety malt, florals, and hopcitrus. Tastes dry, floral, somewhat bready, with hops, citrus, mild champagney white winey notes, and a lively palate. Solid.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 OleR (3660) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 21, 2011
0.75 L paper-wrapped bottle enjoyed @Den Babbelaer, Aalst. Lasting fluffy white head. Body is foggy, straw colored. Rounded spicy and fruity aroma, quite similar to their Jan de Lichte, actually. Soft grainy malts and spices in the flavor. Quite sweet, fine citric fruitiness. Fine-bubbled, sparkling mouthfeel. Medium full. Finishes on the drier side with fruit and spice notes. Nice all over.

Aroma is fantastic. Pours a pale, translucent straw with a 1 finger foamy/creamy head. Typical saison deliciousness. Do yourself a favor & let it warm to room temperature before consuming. A WORLD of difference.

Bottle. Pours a beautiful straw color with a serious snow white head. Aroma is subtle with only slight hints of cereal and spice with some grassyness. Flavor is full of spices, slightly sweet with a little sourness. The beer has a lively carbonation that finishes crisply with nice astringent quality.
