Säuerlicher Geruch und Beginn, starke Karbonisierung. Kaum Hefenoten, etwas herb, immerhin ein wenig Hopfen ist erkennbar. Zitrus-säuerlicher Nachhall. 8/7/8/7/5/7
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUL 18, 2011
(bottle) Cloudy, deep golden to light-amber colour with a medium-sized but diminishing and slightly tanned frothy head. Phenolic spicy aroma of cloves and nutmeg, accompanied by wheaty notes, a grainy touch and a shy fruit-character. Mildly sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Wheaty and spicy taste with slightly vinous fruity notes towards the slightly tart finish with a present phenolic touch. 13.VII.11

Bottle (thanx to Jonas!): Deep golden, hazy, relatively quickly collapsing fluffy off-white head; phenolic-spicy nose with a touch of wheat and cloves; moderate sourish-sweet flavour with a light bitterness, medium bodied; slightly tart and sourish, but also vinous finish with a delicate hoppy tinge. O.K. .....
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Beershine (4746) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - FEB 10, 2011
Dark ochre with thick fizzy head and particulates. Aroma is quite tame, isn’t too estery or yeasty. Is nice and fruity without the banana cliche. Another fizzy one, but the beer has a nice dry nutty character with good malt. Toasty and drier than expected for a southern Bavarian weizen.

Hazy tan. Light yeasty aroma, hints of bread, maybe some bananas. Slightly spicy character with a fair bit of tartness at the back. Decent wheat.

The bottle looks very simple I think, the beer in the glass dark, quite turbid, nice head. Starts malty, not too roasty, quite fruity from the beginning with notes of banana and apple. Also a bit sourish. Finish a bit unbalanced, hoppy notes, a bit dry and metallically. Not really my favourite!
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 shrubber85 (5061) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - NOV 19, 2010
Bottle. Tart lemon peel, coriander, clove, and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy yellow amber color with large white head. Tart lactic/lemon peel, coriander, and wheat malt flavor. Nice body. Very witbier-like.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 JorisPPattyn (6736) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - OCT 16, 2010
UPDATED: OCT 17, 2010 Toweringly huge head, very dens, bit dirty yellow, leaving lace over fully hazy orange-yellow beer. Bottom of bottle hides some ultra-UFO’s! Milky, nearly lactic first impression, followed by more classical citrussy and banananotes. Finish has a touch of pickles - acetic? Very good balance between sweet, sour and even bitter-spicy (clove and others); citrus and some breadnotes; wheatflavour obvious. Warming up, excess banana. Very (wheat)slick, spritzy and refreshing. Decent Weißbier.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 asheft (2072) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 19, 2010
[bottle]
Sweet and sour banana and bubblegum aroma that has some powdered sugar character. Murky grey-yellow under a tawny head that recedes to a ring. Refreshingly sour wheat malt flavour that is almost mouth puckering. Nice clove accents come in late and are accompanied by some herbs--corander?. Light body, medium to high carbonation, soda watery finish. Very refreshing weizen and kind of unique in its sourness. I suspect they used more wheat malt than most.
