Glenwood Canyon Carbonator Doppelbock

Growler poured a clear dark reddish brown with a minimal amber head. Aromas of toasted malt, graininess, carmel and a hint of fruitiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, plum, toasted malt and a hint of chocolate with a crisp lingering bittersweet finish.

Smells wonderful and has a nice color. First, and lasting, impression is sweet sweet caramle. This can be very nice in small doses, say..the sampler size. A little alcohol noticeable in the finish, but much too sweet overall.
