Pour out of bottle at Art and Ale festival, clear orange with thin fizzy white head, aroma has notes of caramel, apple, some slight bread and earth notes, slight acidic notes. Taste is sour apple, some slight sweet fleshy apple with caramel, other citrus, finishing fairly sweet. Decent.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Saisonlova (11) - - FEB 28, 2012
The regular is still fairly dry compared to many sweet ciders I’ve had. I haven’t tried their dry version, but I fear it might be to dry. Very tasty cider that I’ll drink lots of this summer.

On tap at Colorado Cider Company poured a clear yellw with a lingering ring of white bubbles. Aromas of apples, straw and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of tart apples, light straw and a hint of spice with a crisp lingeing apple finish.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 notalush (4174) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 18, 2011
Very clear gold pour - looks like a white wine - minimal lace - nose is mildly sweet and semi tart - earthy apple skin and flesh, light vanilla - crisp and light in flavor - a bit tart and mildly acidic up front - very mild apple flavor - moderately tannic - a touch like a semi-sweet desert wine - a light bit of vanilla on the tail end - crisp and refreshing, but lacks the earthy complexities of the better ciders I have had.
5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 JENNYB (1) - Colorado, USA - OCT 21, 2011 does not count
This phenomenal cider is as fresh and light as sunshine itself.
The aroma is the scent of a freshly sliced apple.
The color is pale and shimmering with effervescence.
The taste is crisp, delicate. An excellent accent to any meal or on its own.
The palate will combine well and combines the savory flavors of beer with the anticipated fragrant welcome of a wine.
Overall this is the best non-grain beer I ever sampled. I prefer it to beer as it isn’t filling. But where wine on it’s own leads to a meal and often requires one, this light draft leaves the drinker unburdened by the heavy feel of most fermented beverages. A delight!

Draft from the Odell taproom. Pours clear light gold with a small bit of fizz up top. Nose of dry, crisp apples, light dry vermouth notes, and some mild earthy notes. Tastes similar, starting sweet but finishing more dry. I’m not much of a cider fan, but I’d actually drink this one.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jb43 (1650) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 21, 2011
(draft 7/6/11 at Brewers Republic). Clear pale yellow color. Spare white head. Moderate dry apple juice aroma. Same flavor with light sweetness. Avg duration. Dry finish. Thin texture. Soft carbonation. Spare lacing.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 onceblind (2536) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 12, 2011
On tap @ Garden Grapes and Hops event. Aroma of apple juice, sugar, light alcohol esters. Taste was apple-rific, and a bit sharp on the tartness yet slightly dry finish. A bit puckering after a few sips. Yet somehow, still delicious and quaffable. Would be more refreshing if less sour. A fine cider.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Ernest (5627) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 17, 2011
Bottle.
Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing.
Body is light yellow.
Aroma is light notes of apple, apple skins, wood/stems, plastic, paint thinner.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation.
Pretty much the same as the Dry, just a tad more overall sweetness for a slightly better balance, a tiny bit more color and body.
