Cask Handpump at the Babington Arms JDW, Derby 15/08/2007 Some hop aroma. Small white head. Bronze coloured and fruity with a crisp and bitter dry finish.

Hazy off-white head lasts atop the light amber pour. A slightly tart bitter with obvious nutty tones. Well malted really, gently grainy more than toasty bitter with sesame grains leanings and lots of breadiness that, at times, borders sourdough. Soft and drinkable.

Aug 07 Cask Conditioned @ Babington Arms, Derby. Light copper. Nutty peanut skins and earthiness. Not very drinkable and poorly kept. (av rating given)
