Das Glöckl Zwickl ist naturtrüb und im Geschmack harmonisch und schlank. Ein frisch-hopfiges Bier mit wertvoller Hefe.

Saeglopur (366) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - DEC 16, 2013
Draught at Glöckl Bräu. Hazy dark yellow body with medium, creamy, white head, that leaves some lacing. Light aroma of grain, grass, hay, some honey sweetness. Taste is stronger, with the same aromas, also bread, sweet malt, some fruityness, like banana. Medium body with a stronger bitter finish. Not a bad Zwickl, quaffable, but nothing special.

Kita (1120) - Koper, SLOVENIA - JUL 31, 2013
Draught, 0.30l. Hazy golden color with medium creamy white head, fair lacing and average visible carbonation. Aroma of grassy hops, grainy malt and mild honey. Taste starts with rich, but light sweet malt, followed by mild honey and finished with strong bitterness. Medium body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Nice and refreshing...

heavy (2144) - Split, CROATIA - FEB 10, 2011
22/01 Draught at the brewpub. It poured hazy yellow body with small head. Really nice aroma, characterized by typical yeasty dustiness, but also cloves and banana, estery like a weizen. Flavor wasn’t bad as well, biscuity and slightly grainy with yeasty earthiness. Thinner body, like all zwickles but fulfills its refreshing purpose. Weak, but long finish, slightly sweet. Not bad.

Comments: From the wood (gravity) at Glöckl-brau with a fantastic chive meal. Almost wheaty, extremely pale zwickl with doughy paste and rice flavours. Also mild, grassy hops that don’t cut through the filmy mouthfeel. Bordering astringency.

ogivlado (5791) - Zagreb, CROATIA - DEC 23, 2006
Draught at the brewpub and shared with Doggythedog.
Opaque yellow coloured, medium sized white head, mild yeasty nose. Aroma is hoppy and slight fruity but also quite weak with just a tiny yeasty notes. The beer was served pretty enough too warm.

Marko (3965) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - DEC 19, 2006
Draught at the brewpub, shared with ozujsko
Poured an opaque yellow colour with a thick, persistent medium-big chalky white head. The nose is a bit hoppy but yeasty too. The taste is disappointingly empty, with some lemony tasting hops (Goldings I guess) showing through and a ok-but-uninmpressive yeastiness.
