Brewed with honey and spices

Cloudy golden color. Aroma of spices and medicines. Round mouthfeel, the honey gives some sweetness, but the spices makes it taste in a soapy way. Good bitterness. Not bad, but a bit weird.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is tiger balsam, some spices, malts and mild rubbery notes. Flavour is quite vegetably along with some spices, fruits and mild wooden notes. Not that bad. Interesting attempt at something different.

Hazy orange brown, head fizzles to nothing, high carb, oily texture. Heavy honey aroma smells like nice honey but also a weird mint or pine thing that is very odd and reminds me of mouthwash. Very dry palate dominated by honey and medicinal herbs. Very unrefined and amateurish stuff, tastes like dodgy homebrew unfortunately, I had to pour it out.

Perfekte Harmonier, interessantes Bier, hohe Süffigkeit – Spitze! 7/12/12/11/11/12

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2011 Bottled, from El Estribo, Madrid. Hazy amber, minimal head. Tiger balm aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Juicy and fruity with strong herbal flavour. Slight salty finish. Strange, but interesting Root beer like ale.

Bottled. A mury orange-brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, spices, sulphur, and herbs. The flavor is sweet with notes of flowers and herbs - reminds me of medicin. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Cloudy orange, brief head. Spicy aroma, Anna thinks it’s a touch vegetal, but it’s also quite fruity. Quite savoury mouthtaste, yeasty and a bit earthy (I tried to pour as little yeast as possible, but a few clumps fell in). Carbonation pleasant, and augmented by the biting noble hops that don’t identify themselves until finish. Absolutely no hint of alcohol at all - when I do my usual alcohol test, all I get is ginger. Alas too yeasty and with that earthy, and almost moldy, to really appeal to me as a go-to beer, but with the way it covers the alcohol and the finish, this is a very well crafted beer indeed - hence the skew to "overall" points.

courtesy of Antonio Rey Ruiz - cloudy amber-orange colour with a poor head retention; the nose is very spicy (ginger, mint) and a bit medicinal; solid malt body, sweet and fairly bitter, robust carbonation and a very long spicy finish - never cloying despite the heavy presence of spices; a weird beer and after some reflexions, I decided that I like it

A Mes rate: bottle from La Cerveteca but supped at our appartment in Barca. This is mad mad stuff. Germoline, pine and spruce, ginger and cinnamon bread aroma. Really unusual. Not sure it’s that great but it’s certainly interesting. A very hazy amber colour with a thin white head. Peaty and earthy flavour. Nice and dry. It’s almost smoky. Maybe it’s the germoline. There is more than enough of that. Very odd. It’s a long time since I have had a beer that has left me so at odds with myself. I know I don’t like it that much but I keep drinking it. More strangeness in the root beer like finish and some lovely sweet fruity notes in the aftertaste. An enjoyable drink with plenty of character but not that amazing.
