Bottle: Clear, copper to amber coloured, almost no head; solid sweet caramelly nose with a decent hoppy-woody touch; moderate to solid sweet flavour, medium bodied, sticky; lingering sweet caramelly and fruity finish, increasing hoppiness in the aftertaste. Sweet and sticky, but the finish makes it well drinkable....

Draught at Bräustubl Im Glossner-bräu.
Brown thickhead. Pale amber color.
Complex aroma with chrystal malts.Sweet taste with to small bitterness that makes it too sweet.

Vollmundig süßer Antrunk, in dem der Alkohol erahbar ist. Hinter der Süße steht das Malz, wenn auch nicht von Beginn an. Später gesellen sich vergorenen Fruchtnoten hinzu, die aber von der Süße überlagert werden. Wenig holzig, Röstmalzansätze, welche ebenfalls unter die Räder der Süße geraten. Leider wird sie erst zum Ende milder, hier entwickeln sich aber keine neuen Aromen. Süffiger Doppelbock, in dem die Süße ein tiefgehenderes Gesamtaroma verhindert.

Sweet flavour of caramel, bread and liquorice.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is toasted breadish malty and slight caramelish. Sweet caramelish and light bitterness coming through. Ends dry and caramelish roasted finish.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel,nuts, and metal. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and nuts, leading to a dry finish.

Provning hos Papsoe. Söt, fruktig lite unken doft, maltig. Fyllig, söt, ganska välbalanserad, väldigt lite humle, ganska lång eftersmak.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear nutty brown with a small off-white head. Lovely aroma of burned caramel and pumpernickel. Solid malt bill, carbonation is a little low, nuts, burned sugars and rye. Subdued hoppiness. A rather low ABV but perfectly balanced and highly quaffable. 100511

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It’s a clear, dark amber to light brown beer. A small, beige head sits on top. Dried fruits, fruit syrup, alcohol and some lightly roasted malts in the aroma. Hints of banana. The flavor is quite bitter, with some roasted notes. Hints of banana too, and fruit syrup and alcohol. Full body, warming. Lasting alcohol finish with some weizenbock. Well, not my favorite weizenbock. 110318
