Can, 500 ml, extract of wort 15,1%
Appearance: Head is metallic, quickly disappearing, no lacing, head is frothy, body is amber, rather deep but not transparently clear, carbonation is weak, all come to head, better than Krol Artur brewed by Belgia Brewery.
Aroma: Quite strong and skunkness, some traces of accidic notes, accidic carbonated nose, metallic, like wet fur, some hars alcoholic nose, a little bit flowery but I’m not quite sure from, alcohol, can skunkness, some strange metallic, malty aroma, a bit of mustard, a little bit harsh aroma, artificial emulgator of accidity blows me.
Flavour: Little bit grainy, predominanting flavour of vine grapes, a little bit fruity but only at the front of palate, because later sa it gets through your palate it becomes flat, wattery, artificial and alcoholic, very strong domination of malty, no trace of hops, Krol Artur was better.
Palate: Poor, wattery, artificial, dry, accidic a bit but generally like water quite nasty blended with alcohol, gives the impression of cheap plonk, becomes oily and a little bit bready.
D (499), Kraków, Poland Aug 21, 2006 Good look, big and thick head. Some herbal notes with strong malt taste, full bodied. Unfortunately a bit too sweet and alcohol is too much felt as for as 7% beer. Decent, but could’ve been much better if it wasnt so heavy. larsniclas (3034), Gothenburg, Sweden Jun 19, 2005 Canned.
Golden, short bubbly head.
Fruity and malty aroma; apricot.
Raterh metallic with alcohol coming through.
Rather malty; almost like a bock bier. rickgordon (3073), Göteborg, Sweden Jun 7, 2005 Canned.
Dark amber, low off-white head. Cheesy, fruity, slight sourish nose along with alcohol. Maltier than what you’d expect from a regular ESL. Notes of dried fruits. ’Warming alcohol feel’. hammenlind (738), Sundbyberg, Sweden Jun 4, 2005 Amber colour, thin white head. Yeasty nose, with some fruity apricots hints. Refreshing, warming. Quite bitter flavour. Clear alcohol. Somewhat sweet in finish. Light to medium bodied.
