COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle, given to me by a co-worker who just visited Germany. Pours an attractive, clear dark bronze with an off-white head. Nice toasted grain/caramel/dark fruit aroma with the slightest tinge of herbal hops in the background. Clean flavor - notes of dark caramel, toffee, plum, raisin, cola, light Noble hop character and a very clean yeast with no imperfections. Has a pleasant sweetness level which never gets cloying. Medium bodied with smooth texture and moderate carbonation. Very well-made- great session beer.

Sehr gut! 11/12/12/12/12/12

Bottled 50cl. Ordered from www.bierzwerg.de. Tallish head (considering the style). Chocolatey, malt accented with pumpernickel showing up. Nice and easy drinkable.
