COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Very dark, very fine foam. Tastes not as malty as other bockbeers, but also strong. The finish a little bit "earthy" - very interesting. Really good bock!

Sehr gut! 11/12/12/12/12/12

Bottle, given to me by a co-worker who just visited Germany. Pours an attractive, clear dark bronze with an off-white head. Nice toasted grain/caramel/dark fruit aroma with the slightest tinge of herbal hops in the background. Clean flavor - notes of dark caramel, toffee, plum, raisin, cola, light Noble hop character and a very clean yeast with no imperfections. Has a pleasant sweetness level which never gets cloying. Medium bodied with smooth texture and moderate carbonation. Very well-made- great session beer.

Bottled, mine listed 6.3 per cent alcohol. Deep shade of brown; aroma of caramelised vanilla; some black bean and teriyaki with hints of honeycomb; sweet but pleasantly so with hints of cocoa powder in the finish and a little warming alcohol showing
