The bottle looks nice. The beer in the glass is not very zippy, nut has a nice head. Starts dry and metallically, but also washy. All notes are very quiet. A bit moldy finish. Not my favourite!

Bottle 330ml. @ home.

Clear medium yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty,grain, hay, moderate hoppy, grass, fresh grass, flowers - grass - meadow. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sharp, malty, limestone - chalk. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120207]

Milder Getreidegeruch. Hopfiges, recht herbes Aroma mit mittelstarkem würzigen Unterton. Ein malziger Ton ist kaum ausgeprägt vorhanden, legt im Nachgeschmack aber leicht zu. Trotzdem spielt er kaum eine Rolle neben dem deutlich hopfig-bitteren Aroma. Kein schlechtes Produkt, es fehlt aber das gewisse Etwas. Bottle: Golden coloured, quickly vanishing small white foam; malt in the aromatic-citrusy-hoppy nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, soft MF, light malty body; distinctive, drier bitter-sweet finish with a citrus-fruity touch. A very pleasant, nearly spicy brew.....

(33cl bottle, from pivnizub) Slightly hazy, pale golden with a short frothy white head. Dusty, light-sweet malty, slightly worty nose. Slightly sweet malty, worty and yeasty taste with a herbal bitterness towards the finish. Likeable Zwickel-Pils.
