Bottle. A clear, pale golden beer with a white head. Fruity and grainy nose, more of a pale lager than a kellerbier. The same goes for the flavor, but there’s more flavor than aroma. Still it’s grainy and fruity, with some pale malt, and there’s not too much of it. Thin body. Rather boring beer from Eastern Germany. (080215)

Bottle from MiP, thanks! Pale blonde, cloudy, flowery, chalky, slightly citric aroma and flavor. Fresh hops, especially noticeable in the aftertaste. Very nice!

500 ml bottle. Very pale body with a thin and disappearing white head. Aroma is slightly fruit sourish. Flavor is light, refreshing and quite plain. I might not really understand this beer. Quite high ratings, but you could have fooled me anytime introducing this as a regular German lager/pilsner. I’m not impressed.

Bottle. A pale yellow beer with a big white head. The aroma is light citric and of yeast, so is the taste. Medium body with a light dry finish.

Grovlam (4152) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 19, 2007
0,5 L bottle with courtesy of Papsoe. Nice large tiny bobbles white head. Very sparkling body with a yellow color. Smooth feel of grassy and floral notes. Underlying malty character with light notes of grain, caramel and almost cookie like notes. Medium bodied with a light dry texture and an average carbonation. Well balanced light sweet and bitter flavor. Light dry and light hops bitter finish. Quit refreshing and nice.
