Clear amber of color with a small beige head. An aroma of sweets, caramel, bread and weak hay. An aroma of caramel, sweets and bread.

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sugar - mild syrup, light roasted. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120128]

Bottle. Dark amber/brown with small off-white head. Aroma is light roasted malts, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is light roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, little toffee, medium sweet and a little bitter.

Bottle @ Too many Geuze’s - only one toilet , Ulfborg 2012. Pours ruby brown with a small ceamy head..Vague roast, sweet chocolate, ashes and caramel. Medium bodied. Decent.

Clear brownish red with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and grainy. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 280112

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel and hops.

Draught. Low fluffy and quickly disappearing head. Very dark red brown body. Nice roasted malt caramel honey nuts aroma. Very sweet roasted malt caramel nuts flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness. High carbonation. Long bittersweet aftertaste.

Süßlicher, tief malzerner Geruch. Das Bier schmeckt malzig, aber im Vergleich zu anderen Schwarzbieren eher verhalten. Deutlicher ist die süßliche Note zu erkennen. Mit der Zeit wird das Bier noch malziger, wird mir aber nie kräftig genug, zumal es im Nachgeschmack komplett verschwindet. Dort, wie sich im Mittelteil ankündigt, ist das Bier überaus wässrig. Das ist sehr schade, Potential ist vorhanden. Nicht zu süß, dezent herb, leicht hopfig - nur leider nicht würzig genug, dafür ist es zu wässrig. Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Very deep ruby red colour, close to black, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is nuts, some roasted malts, mild toffee as well as mild syrupy "thickness". Flavour is roasted malts, some slight smoked notes as well as breadyness, some syrupy sweetness as well as caramel. Also some slight bitterness. Not all that sweet as for the flavour.
