This beer pours a deep rich amber colour with a small thin vanilla head. metallic tasting, slightly hopped, creamy texture rich in malts. i was turned off by this beer, not a good one in my opinion.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2007 Pours dark copper with a medium head and moderate carbonation. Aroma was a little soapy at first but changed into a rather nice malty, caramel, ripened fruit mix. Thats it for the compliments. Now on to the flavor...Not good. Metallic malts, soured fruits, cough syrup. Oh well, at least the aroma and appearance was decent.

Good amber color, small off white head that had a short hang time then faded quickly leaving nothing behind. The aroma was off,and not what i was expecting for the style.Faint hints of malt and something that reminds me of a metallic thing going on here. The taste was sickening.Grainy and mildly malty with some hints of caramel some metallic taste and maybe even something that comes off to me as being a bit medicinal. If this is there reserve beer then they really need to try again because this sucks ass bad.The price is right for sure but thats the only thing it has going for it.

Aroma of caramel malt. Orange tinged amber color with a white head that rapidly filmed. Thin to medium body. Caramel sweetness with an accompanying sour note. Dryish at the finish. There is not very much bitter, but the sour aspect is enough to balance off the malt. Actually pretty refreshing.

Amber color with hefty foamy white head. Ultra sweet grain nose. Overly sweet body with an almost syrup level of sweetness. Faint malt taste.

From a capped bottle shaped 12 oz. can with a coded freshness date on the bottom, sampled at a cool cellar temperature in a pint glass. Poured a clear reddish amber with a slightly off-white head that settled into a thin sudsy lacing. A faint and little strange nose, caramel toffee is nice, then there’s the apple cider scent, close to cider vinegar, and chalk. Good carbonation and a softly crisp, dryish, watery and thin light bodied mouthfeel, I like amber/red ales, but I didn’t care for this, watery and thin caramel toffee malts, then comes the sweet apple, frozen concentrated apple juice-like flavor, a subtle sour citrus, and a dry, watery apple juice and caramel finish. Stite is new to my area, just hitting the grocery liquor department shelves, and it is cheap enough, I found this bottle in the mix-a-six section, and well, I glad I didn’t buy a six of this, unimpressive.

Pours a Cu red, but that is stretching things a bit. A decent but very mild malt and hop aroma and taste. I would say metallic but that would be overkill. Compared to other Shit beers, whatever, you get what you pay for, in this case $2/sixer. Low rent.

Red copper color with a moderate heavy cream colored head. Dry grainy aroma, with some hints of DMS (creamed corn). Watery and dull in feel. Caramel and brown sugar tastes. Hints of green beans and dry hay. Not much in this one. A touch of malt in the linger helps, but in no way saves this one.

Pours a clear copper/amber color with about half an inch of white foam. This beer is well-carbonated. There’s a little bit of lacing going on. Nope, no aroma. I am actually surprised that this beer has some decent flavor. Not a whole lot of flavor, mind you, but definately nothing bad. There’s malt in there - a mild caramel with just a touch of fruitiness, and there is a recognizable hop bitterness in the finish. A decent level of carbonation combines with the hops for a nice ’bite’ that almost makes up for the too light body. It is smooth but non-challenging.
