COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Catahoula Common isn’t quite so common. It’s a light colored refreshing lager with the “bite” of an ale. Its medium body and slight fruitiness from the atypical fermentation temperature creates an enjoyable Louisiana weather brew.

Appearance: pours with a medium off white head, has a really nice light amber color to it Aroma: very faint caramel sweetness, not much else Taste: light amber malt sweetness, very slight hop bitterness on the finish Palate: average carbonation, minimal bitter aftertaste, light mouthfeel Overall: to be honest the best part about this beer is the name and the logo, which is super cool for a local la beer, the beer itself doesn't have enough flavor for me though ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dat Dog in new orleans: pours orange with small white head. Aroma is slight caramel but mostly malt. Taste is not that interesting. Basically it is a malty lager. So it goes.

Pours a clear light golden. Light malt in the nose. Got that steam beer and pilsner flavor. Mouthfeel is wet but gets astringent.

Dark orange body, medium white head and spotty lacing. General soft stone fruit qualities, light bready lagerish notes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation and a smooth lightly sweetness. Solid for the style.
