Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. (080808)

Handpulled cask at the Black Lion in Lynsted, Kent. Gold with a thin white head. Aroma of apples suggested that it may have been past it’s best. No off tastes and quite smooth and sweet. Would like to try in fresher condition.

Cask@GBBF2008. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is hops, fruits and mild notes of gerass. Flavour is fruit and wood along with some mild notes of sourness and also mild nuttyness.

Sampled at the Man of Kent pub in Rochester. A pale goldenish ale with hints of citrus in a sweet kind of way. Very drinkable, but with a hefty kick to it. Quite nice

Golden coloured light on the palate and fruity. Some sweetness and a hop finish.
