Gravity cask at White Cliffs/Dover Fest 2011. A bloody festival special. The old tickers used to like these in the days when there weren’t as many beers around. But they are no longer appropriate. Make a proper beer or don’t bother. This is a mix of the Crown Imperial and the Old 1066. It’s smokey and woody and rather confused. It’s interesting in that curious way that motorway pile ups are interesting. Plastic and BBQ hickory wood chips. Weird.

Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2011. Very deep ruby colour No head Newspaper and sourness on aroma. Some wood character. More newspaper and sour fruit in mouth. I stryggled with it
