UPDATED: JUL 19, 2013 Cask @ The Shipwrights Arms, Faversham. Clear, dark amber body with a nice, small, dense tan head. Mild, nice aroma of roasted malt and nuts. Flavor is nice, smooth, roasted malt, fruity and pleasant well balanced bitterness. Medium body and nice aftertaste. A really fine sample of a Mild.

Cask at GBBF 2012. A dark brown coloured mild, with a sweet malty aroma. Thin and watery on palate, some unexpected earthy hop bitterness in the finish. Pretty disappointing.

Cask@GBBF2011. Hazy deep ambery brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, some liquorice, fruity and also some nutty notes. Flavour is dark fruits, some wood, mild syrupy notes as well as some mild roasted malts and liquorice.

Cask at GBBF, Day 4. Pours brown-ruby with a sturdy, tan head. Toasty malts on the nose, hints of dark fruit and cocoa. Nice flavor, subtle wood, dry fruits, light brown sugar. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Great condition. Light sweet finish, touches of herbal and leafy bitters, mild toast and berry jam. Solid mild.

From cask at Brew Wharf beerfestival. Pours dark golden brown with a redish glare and a small tan head. Aroma is light yeasty and roasted malty. Vague teaish flavoured, light herbal touch. Smooth malty and mild fruity flavoured. Subdued bitterness into a more malt dominated finish. Vague liqourice note.

A Mes rate: gravicask at Ealing Beer Festival.
Dark, almost clean red brown with a decent off white head. Light and fruity aroma with some really good faint nutty notes and plenty of earth. Awesome flavour. Dry and toasty, just the right amount of fruit, coffee and chocolate. Gorgeous. Loads of character, very drinkable, superb mild.

On gravity at Reading Beer Festival, 01/05/09. Deep, dark brown with no head. Chocolate and roasted malts aroma. Flavour of milk chocolate, red fruits and a touch of coffee in the finish. A very easy drinking mild.

Cask @ London Drinker 25: Dark, dark brown with a swirly film that created lovely patterns across the top of the beer. Hefty chocolate and smoked aromas with underlying weetabix style grains. Light smoke and creamy cappuchino flavours finsihed with a very bitter cringe in the mouth. I just found this WAY TOO THIN. It was good to an extent with some nice flavours. The texture was far too much to ignore though I am afraid.
