4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JUN 18, 2005 Gravity at Red Lion, Snargate. Dark ruby with burnt malt with coffee and chocolate blanaced with some hops to give a dry finish. Lots of flavour for such a low alcohol beer and a mild too boot. Excellent
Cask at Catford Beer Festival. Normally one of my favourite milds, this one was a bit thin, tired and acidic. Good burnt malt notes on the nose with bitterness throughout. Quite a short finish
