An intensely aromatic pale beer, brewed with long summer evenings in mind.

Pale golden ale, aroma is stale hops , a lemony citrous flavour with a bitterish saline finish. There is not much hop character here, and I don’t find it terribly sophisticated or pleasant.

Bottle at jeevan’s, thanks to a holidaying friend. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of slightly sweaty hops, saline. Taste is light lemon barley water. Thin finish.

Light golden colour with small head. The beer has a soapy citrus aroma and lots sugar. The flavour is dry and dull. Most of it is bread malt bone and herbal moderate bitterness. Easy to drink but it becomes more of a stomach filler then an enjoyable pint.

Cask at the Simeon Arms during the Isle of Wight Jolly. Pours clear yellow with a creamy white head. The nose has dried grains, hay and light biscuits. Light sweet flavor with bitter grass, minerals, grain husk and lemon rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Grainy and grassy on the finish with more rindy lemon. Eh, OK.

Cask. Light hazy yellow with a small white good lacing head. Rotten eggs and farts on the nose. Flavour is a bit less offensive than the nose, but still the rotten eggs and farts dominates over light notes of hay and grass. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, light sweet and medium bitter. Long dry and light bitter finish.

Has quite a smooth feel. Flavours of apple, citrus, pale malts and a soft hoppy background.
