Handpulled cask at the Steamer Inn, Shanklin I.O.W. Very pale straw with a fresh white collar in perfect condition and temperature. Good buiscuty malt base with fine robust english hop characture punching through from start to finish. An excellent beer for a hot summers day by the sea.

Bästa Godads alen. Mer citruskaraktär, mycket humle, frisk, krispig och en riktig törstsläckare.

Hazy blond color, some head. Refreshing Ale, with light vanilla aroma, light soapy character, good malt flavor and good hopping. Very pleasant.

Mungo (2472) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAR 28, 2006
UPDATED: MAR 29, 2006 Bottle(from Bitter Virtue). Pale but not cloudy wheaty appearance. Peppery, herbal hops and just a hint of yeasty bread. Light bodied with peppery hop bitterness on the finish. Although I first thought this was a BCA due to a light sprinkling of sediment at the bottom of the bottle I found out afterwards it was filtered - no appreciable difference to many bottle conditioned beers I’ve sampled.

Bottled. A blonde beer with a white head. Zesty citrus notes in the aroma. Lemony hops in the mouth with a little soap. Light and pleasantly hoppy. Some orange flavours too. Decent.

50cl bottle from Waitrose, Andover. Brilliant straw in colour with a loose white head; aromatic aroma, with traces aof nettles and fresh mown hay; rather thin and woody in the mouth to start, but quickly developing a strong leafy bitterness with a toudh of honey for sweetness. Clean and refreshing.

Cask@The Criterion, Leicester. Golden beer with a strong white head. The aroma is fruity and dry, and the flavour is dry with a lot of refreshing fruitiness. Overall a reasonable golden beer with plenty of fruitiness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
