Amber coloured, traditionally brewed English ale, hopped with Fuggles and Goldings.

Bottle - Bready malts and some earthy notes.  Clear gold with little white head.  Twig and toast, light bitterness and a toasty long finish.

Bottle at the the Waterfront Inn, Shanklin during the IoW Jolly. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The nose is toasty, juicy, tangerine, grain and mild caramel. The taste is toasty, grainy, brown bread, caramel, earth, leather and grass with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Easy going and decent enough ESB.

Bottle from co-op in Cowes. Pours out in a deep amber-brown colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of nuts and hops. Taste of ripe hops, light barley, cake, nuts and vanilla. Hints of leaves. Smooth to drink and highly quaffable.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 13 Dec 2013) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, nuts, dried fruit and earthy hops. Fruity, malty taste with dried fruit, nuts, toasty malt and a generous earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Well balanced and tasty winter warmer. Nice one.

500ml bottle. pours a dark copper colour with tan head. aroma and taste both very hoppy. a little bit of fruit in there too. very nice bitter but nothing too exciting.
