A Mes rate: bottle at Chris O’s Post GBBF Tasting.
Gold with a thin white film. Nice fruity malt with a decent hoppy topping. Nice bitterness. One dimensional as hell but drinkable and tasty.

Bottled, 500ml, 2nd in the Isle of Wight bottles from Pat. Amber with fast dissipating white head. Pasteurised. There is a burnt caramelisation taste about this, heavy pasteurisation, metallic and frankly pretty lifeless. Standard leafy hop note late on. Not great.

Bottled. An amber coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. A sweet bitter with toffee notes. Caramel and a bit of butter in the nose. Late fruit in the mouth. Odd in places. The strength comes through. It’s alright.

50cl bottle bought in Hartney Whitney. Amber with a faint ring of white head; aroma of apricots and honey; oily textrure with fruity malt flavours; the finish is dry, with a soft undertone of English hops. A sound but unexciting bitter.

[500ml bottle from Rosemary vineyard shop, Ryde] Amber-brass-urine colour, no head. Fine yet prickly carbonation. Tastes of dry, dusty barley in an old barn. Sweetness behind but with a little bitterness to finish. Rather watery and bland for the ABV.
